1969 Ford Mustang Mach One

There was another major restyling of the Mustang in 1969 and many consider it one of the most dramatic of any of the changes.   The Mach 1 was designed as the Performance Oriented Mustang for 1969 and definitely looked the part.  It is one of those cars that looks like it is going 100mph just sitting still. It definitely looks lower, wider and meaner. This is a perfect example.  I sold a very nice Mach 1 to a gentleman in Oregon who put it in a car show. The award he won was “The car most likely to get a speeding ticket”!  These Mach’s just have that “Bad Boy” look about them.

The Mach One’s had a great number of options that were part of the Mach 1 package. I will list these options for you later. It is quite an extensive list of items.

The body on the car is in excellent condition with just a few minor exceptions. One of the problems is that the car had to sit outside for a while and the paint on the roof has faded. It also has a minor problem with some bubbles at the bottom of each door. This Mach even has its original front fender on it. Call me about this and I will give you a great deal more information and answer any questions you may have.

I really think this color combination of Indian Fire with the yellow stripes around the trunk area is one of my favorite color combinations on these Mustangs. One of the BIG pluses on this car is that it has A/C and it WORKS! To install A/C on a car like this correctly runs around $3,500 to $4,000.

Please pay attention to what I am telling you now. Unlike many classic car dealers we have been selling quite a few cars at the present time. The reason for this is very simple. Our prices are much lower than most of the cars that are for sale right now. Take this car for instance; our price on this car is $22,900.  I would like you to do a comparison of  the Mach 1’s that are out there right now and you will see, like I did, that a car like this one is priced at anywhere from $30,000 to $40,000.

This is not a perfect car by any means, BUT, I do not think you will find one that is as good and original as this one out there at a price like we are asking.  If you are interested in this Mach do not wait!  The other cars that we have sold have been such great deals that many people are very disappointed they did not act quick enough to buy the previously sold cars. This Mach runs and sounds great and is a blast to drive.
