TASCA COBRA-JET COUPE
You are looking at a very
rare COBRA-JET coupe that came from the famous TASCA FORD.
Tasca
Ford is the actual place
that was responsible for the incredibly FAST THUNDER-BOLT Fairlanes that won the
NHRA
CHAMPIONSHIP in 1964. Bob
Tasca also was responsible for inventing the COBRA-JET motor. These COBRA-JETS
came out at the Winter Nationals in 1968 and totally dominated their class. This
is the same motor that went into the 68
This car was not a factory Tasca Ford Race Car but was campaigned independently for years and is actually in at least several racing books and articles. Please see the 2 pictures below of the books and pictures. There is also another .picture that I think you will like. Make sure you see the picture of this Monster when it is almost pulling both front wheels off the ground. The man who drove it at that time said that was quite a ride!!!!!
The reason I am telling you this and showing you
this car even though it is sold is to make you aware of the fact that we sell a
large number of our cars to people without having the cars on our website. So if
there is a particular car you are interested in buying or if you wish to sell
your car please give us a call and we would be very happy to assist you in
either endeavor.
